According to the report, the suspect, Reynaldo Nicolas, 46, was stopped by a patrolling police officer and was mistakenly arrested. Nicolas was supposedly just requested to wear a face mask by the police, but instead of following, he got defiant.

As a result, the police are said to have searched Nicolas and followed him to his home. The authorities discovered a revolver with two bullets and a plastic sachet of dried illegal plant or maryjane leaves in his possession.

Nicolas was apparently first reported to the authorities because he allegedly forced his minor daughter to work as a bed slave at Villalaida, Tuao, Cagayan. Nicolas’ child is six months pregnant right now.

The obscene father has been arrested and faces charges of incestuous harassment, violation of Republic Act 9165 or the Comprehensive Act of 2002, and unlawful firearm ownership. The police told him that justice would be served in the case of his daughter’s death.
