19 Chinese Nationals, 6 Others Found with Fake RT-PCR Test Results Arrested in Isabela
Authorities arrested 16 Chinese nationals and 6 ohter individuals after caught with fake RT-PCR test results in Isabela.
When 19 Chinese nationals and six others entered the province of Isabela, they were discovered using fake reverse transcription-polymerase chain reaction (RT-PCR) tests and travel documents.
They were aboard three vans that arrived from Manila, according to authorities.
They stated that they will apply for a driver’s license at the Isabela Land Transportation Office.

Meanwhile, according to Jaymar Albano, immigration officer, the Chinese have working visas in addition to the three who are still verifying their travel documents. Earlier, President Rodrigo Duterte ordered authorities to arrest travelers who will present fake COVID-19 test results to travel other province.
Individuals who produce phony coronavirus test results, especially in tourist areas, face imprisonment time, according to Duterte. In his State of the Union speech, President Obama urged domestic travelers to double-check the accuracy of their passports to avoid jeopardizing their holiday.
He also reminded the Philippine National Police, the Department of Tourism, and local government units to strictly enforce coronavirus prevention practices among travelers. Duterte claimed he had received allegations that some travelers were falsifying test results in order to get around travel restrictions.
