Kris Aquino, Former Pres. Noynoy Aquino Settled Rift Before His Passing
KRIS AQUINO – The Queen of All Media spoke shortly about her past rift with her late brother, former President Noynoy Aquino.
The Aquinos are among the most popular families in the Philippines. Many of them entered politics while there was a time when Kris Aquino was one of the most in-demand and bankable stars in the Philippine showbiz industry. If there’s another thing that many people admire about the Aquino family, it’s their unity amid the challenges that crossed their paths.
It is no secret to the public that the Aquinos went through a lot. They stayed for three (3) years in the United States for the treatment of their patriarch who suffered from heart attack. When he got home, former Senator Benigno “Ninoy” Aquino Jr. was shot even before stepping in the Philippine grounds.
In 2010, then Sen. Noynoy Aquino took the presidential race. He won and his siblings were all supportive of him. His administration brought growth to the economy of the country.
In the middle of 2018, Kris Aquino revealed that she and former Pres. Noynoy Aquino were not in good terms. Meanwhile, his two (2) sons who are both very close to the former Chief Executive maintained communication with him.
Meanwhile, in May 2021, there were hints that the Aquino siblings have patched things up. Unfortunately, yesterday, countless hearts were left broken by the sudden passing of former Pres. Noynoy Aquino.

Recently, Kris Aquino spoke about her past rift with former Pres. Noynoy Aquino. Based on a report on ABS-CBN News, the actress-TV host affirmed that she and her brother have made their peace but she wants to keep the details private.
“God blessed me, because we made our peace. That is private. I would like to keep that for myself. But I am so grateful na binigay iyon sa akin,” Kris expressed.
The actress-TV host is thankful that she was forgiven and loved by her older brother and she was treated as his youngest. According to her, she has so much more to learn to be worthy not only of being her parents’ daughter but as the sister of the former President.
“To earn the privilege of being ‘bunso’ of the most humble, trustworthy, capable, dignified, and morally upright man I am so blessed to have as my brother,” the actress-TV host said.
