Here is Kakai’s controversial tweet based on the article of Bandera, “I stopped patronizing Duterts and Robredo. I tried focusing on the advantages of the pandemic. And the lessons it has brought us. I realized that life becomes shorter and I want to live it more by being grateful. I pray. A lot.”
Kakai was slammed by netizens on her “apolitical stand” and seemed to be depressing the plight of the suffering Filipinos. There are those who said that the comedian should not speak if it does not help the health crisis.

She said, “Hindi ako Pro and Anti Duterts and Pro and Anti Leni. MALIWANAG yun. Susmaryosep. Wag na tayong mag-away away. GUSTo Ko din ng pagbabago.”
The comedian explained, “Guysh? I deactivated my twitter account ah. Ang gulo-gulo na kase. I might have hurt some people sa mga tweets ko recently pero it doesn’t mean na di ako aware sa mga nangyayare sa atin. AND OO PAGOD NA DIN AKO SA GOBYERNO naten.”
She further stressed “Gusto kong malaman nyo, na hindi man pare-pareho ang opinyon naten at paniniwala ukol sa pandemic, HINDI kayo nag-iisa. Apektado din ako. TAYONG LAHAT TO.
He also reminded all Filipinos in the midst of the worsening pandemic in the country, “Let us take care of our minds and hearts. If you want to get angry, or rant, go ahead and release it, but I hope we don’t fight with people who are also fighting in their own way.
