HEART EVANGELISTA – Kapuso actress and fashion icon Heart Evangelista recalls the moments she has to do a daring shoot and the reason behind it.

“I’m a liberated princess,” says Heart Evangelista way before about herself as she had this phase in her life where she became rebellious against her parents. Many people know this story of her life. She was sheltered and everything about her including her money is being handled by her mother. Even her own happiness is accordingly being controlled by them.

But she eventually came to a point that she had had enough, wanted to break free from being caged, and realized she needed to do her own thing. And to live alone to have the freedom that she wants would mean cutting dependence on her parents and start to be independent on her own. Her on-and-off relationship with her parents is highly-publicized. They weren’t even able to attend her wedding with Chiz Escudero.

With her husband, she had all the freedom she wants and she’s receiving an abundance of support from him in whatever she does. She can do whatever she wants and he lets her do it. And in her recent series of Instagram stories, she walked down memory lane remembering this phase of her life. She recalled a daring photoshoot she did because she needs money and a photo of her in full makeup but with sad and teary eyes.

She’s always been vocal about how grateful she is to have a husband who lets her be who she wants to be and do what she wants to do. He was just there behind her and guiding her.
