HEART EVANGELISTA – Sorsogon Governor Chiz Escudero talked about Filipino resiliency amid adversities and people were in awe of his answer.
Adulting vlog from Kapuso actress Heart Evangelista has been hit previously that it has produced several parts already. The logical insights and realistic answers of her husband Sorsogon Governor Chiz Escudero impressed a lot of people. He really makes sense and despite being asked on the spot, it cannot be denied how sensible he is in looking at things at various points.
And recently, as the latest adulting vlog has been uploaded, one of the many questions asked in a roughly 40-minute vlog is the Filipino resiliency romanticized by the people. As per the governor, resiliency is a praise and not really a bad thing to call the people as such.
However, just because the people are resilient after many adversities they go through doesn’t mean that government must not do their job which is to help those in need at such time that ordinary people cannot do. As per him, that is the purpose of the government and the reason why they are designed – to help and protect the people.
He said, “The government was faulted for calling the Filipino people resilient. That by itself, there’s nothing wrong with that as long as I said they still did their part and not simply rely on the so-called resiliency of the people.”
