Two Alleged NPA Officials Arrested In Separate Manhunt Ops In Davao Region
DAVAO REGION- Two alleged officials of the New People’s Army (NPA) were arrested in separate manhunt operations in Davao Region.
An article from ABS-CBN News states that the Philippine National Police reported that the policemen arrested the suspect under the alias Daryl in Brgy. Tubaon in the municipality of Tarragona, Davao Oriental.
On the other hand, the police arrested another suspect under the alias Dante Dodong Abella in Brgy. Sto Niño in the town of Talaingod, Davao del Norte.
Daryl was wanted for the case of attempted murder in Mati, Davao Oriental while Abella was wanted for the cases of murder and double attempted murder.
Authorities also reported that Daryl is allegedly the team leader of “PBC8, WGF18 Terser Baking” while Abella was allegedly identified as the vice commander of Guerilla Front 55 in Bukidnon, based on the report.
Earlier this month, four alleged NPA rebels were killed in a clash in Garchitorena town, Camarines Sur.

The rebels, still unidentified, were slain in a clash against government troops, who were on combat patrol in Barangay Toytoy, Garchitorena.
They were said to be members of NPA’s Guerilla Front Larangan 1, who were operaing in Camarines Sur.
Recovered were nine assault rifles belonging to the armed group, four of which were from the slain rebels.
