Miss Manila answered Willie Revillame’s lecture on professionalism
Miss Manila Alexandra Abdon has this statement after Wowowin host Willie Revillame lectured her about professionalism on national TV.
On December 11, Kuya Wil personally called the Miss Universe Philippines 2020 candidate to be his guest co-host on Monday, December 14. Alexandra committed and said that she will be there on the show, however, she did not come.
Because of this, the game show host said on air that Alexandra should not commit if she can’t fulfill as they expected her to come but she did not show up.
Willie invited Miss Manila to settle the alleged conflict that she has with Harlene Budol, also known as Hipon Girl. Despite of her no-show, the TV host said that he is giving Alexandra the chance to explain.
On December 18, Friday, Alexandra Abdon personally went to Wowowin studio to explain and apologize.
“So, nag-confirm ako nung Monday. I maybe said yes, or partly said yes, ayan, pero siyempre nag-confirm ako ng madaming tao. Ayan, mag-a-apologize ako for not showing up last Monday, personally, live dito, maririnig niyong lahat. At Kuya Wil, sorry,” Alexandra said.
She explained that she had a prior commitment for a photoshoot in Tagaytay and the event was already booked as it involved a whole production team.
“Kasama ko yung boyfriend ko, yung creative team niya, photographer-videographer, friend namin. Yun,” she shared.
During that guesting of Miss Manila on the Kapuso game show, she and Harlene were also able to settle the “issue” that was raised between them. Alexandra shared a photo with Hipon Girl and Michelle Gumabao who served as their “referee”.
