Angel Locsin Criticize Fellow Artist Who Remain Silent on ABS-CBN Franchise Issue
ANGEL LOCSIN – Actress and philanthropist Angel Locsin criticized fellow celebrities who remain silent on the ABS-CBN franchise issue.
On July, 10, the House of Representatives’ Committee on Legislative Franchises rejected ABS-CBN’s franchise renewal bid. Recently, the bosses of the tv network announced that they will be laying off workers starting August 31.
The execs said laying off workers is the “only way to ensure the continued employment” of the rest of its employees. In a previous article, Camarines Sur’s 2nd District Rep. LRay Villafuerte urged the Lopezes to just sell the company. He said his suggestion will save the employment of 11,000 employees amid the COVID-19 pandemic.
Kapamilya actress Angel Locsin lambasted LRay Villafuerte’s suggestion. She asked him if this has been “the plan ever since.”
“Marami pong nakabantay. Ako’y umaasang gagawin natin kung ano pong makakabuti para sa bayan at hindi sa mga personal agenda,” she added.
