Popstar Royalty Sarah Geronimo received bashing for not speaking up on the issue about the ABS-CBN franchise and her fans rallied behind her.

Although Sarah is under the management of Viva Artist Agency, she has been a Kapamilya for several years. However, she and husband Matteo Guidicelli are not that vocal about the ABS-CBN franchise issue unlike other Kapamilya stars.

When the House of Representatives gave the verdict on this matter, which was not in favor of the TV giant, Kapamilya stars, employees, and supporters held a rally.

Some participated in the noise barrage even outside the house of Representative Mike Defensor. He was one of the 70 lawmakers who voted to junk the franchise application of the media company.

However, amid those intense show of eagerness to defend ABS-CBN, Sarah Geronimo remained silent. In a previous report, she was already thrown with intrigue for being silent over the issue.

On July 18, this issue against the Popstar Royalty once again surfaced on Twitter. Apparently, there were those who criticized her still having her projects despite many Kapamilya stars are already grieving.
