Miami Heat superstar and current NBA MVP LeBron James led the Miami Heat as they defeated the Indiana Pacers on Wednesday to get ahead with 1-0 win loss card in the Eastern Conference Finals.
The Miami Heat win with the final score at 103-102 in overtime as James scored a game-winning layup. James finished with 30 points, 10 rebounds and 10 (–foul word(s) removed–)ists for the ninth post-season triple-double of his career.
For the last few seconds both the Pacers and the Heat had their moments to capture the first win. Paul George gave Indiana the lead with 102-101 through his three free throws with 2.2 seconds left in OT.
The Heat made a timeout and inbounded the ball to their superstar who did not disappoint their fans especially their Fil-Am Coach Erik Spoelstra as LeBron James scored the clutch basket for the win.
The Heat will host the Pacers in game two on Friday. The winner of the series will advance to the NBA finals. In the Western Conference Finals, the San Antonio leads the Memphis Grizzlies 2-0 win-loss record.
