COVID SPLIT – These young couples went viral after posting their break up stories amid the enhanced community quarantine due to coronavirus.
Enhanced community quarantine was declared to the entirety of Luzon which basically means a lockdown. Upon implementation, some work were suspended, classes were totally suspended, public transportation vehicles were also banned, and among other rules and regulations we must abide. This declaration is for the safety of everyone due to the terrifying increase of confirmed COVID-19 cases in the country.
According to the latest bulletin, the confirmed cases jumped to 262 already. With class suspension and travel ban being declared, these threads and posts on social media from young couples caught social media attention.
Surely, a break up is really painful but people could not help but speculate that due to the consequences of COVID, these young couples might have probably broken up due to the distance in between them. Netizens are not making this matter as something to laugh about but jokes are being made since.
With numerous stories of break up from young couples, a certain Alivia Harder made a compilation of these threads and wrote in her caption, “Daming nag brebreak ngayon ah HAHAHAHHAAH”. The post has now more than 11,000 shares, over 5,000 comments, and more than 42,000 shares as of this writing.
