In terms of a seaman’s salary in the Philippines, entry level salary ranges from Php 10,000.00 – Php 12,000.00 per month which may also reach up to P17,000.00 while being abroad has a monthly salary of $900 or Php 47,349.00, this is according to DOLE Bureau of Local Employment.

This require being in school for four years and important to check first if the training center or maritime school is CHED, or MARINA-accredited and compliant to international standards set by International Maritime Organization’s (IMO) and amended Standards of Training Certification and Watch Keeping Convention (STCWC).
