The Filipino athletes Michael Martinez and Asa Miller represent the Philippines on the upcoming Winter Olympics 2018.
Winter Olympics or known as PyeongChang 2018 is an international multi-sport event held in PyeongChang, South Korea.
This annual sports event will be participated of about 95 teams from different countries all around the world.
The competition features 15 sports including Alpine skiing, Biathlon, Bobsleigh, Cross-country skiing, Curling, Figure Skating, Freestyle skiing, Freestyle skiing, Ice hockey, Luge, Nordic combined, Short track speed skating, Skeleton, Ski jumping, Snowboarding, and Speedskating.
On Friday (February 09, 2018), the Philippine flag is paraded during the opening ceremony of the 2018 Winter Olympics at the Pyeongchang Olympic Stadium in Pyeongchang, South Korea.
Michael Martinez, a 21-year-old Filipino figure skater will represent the Philippines in PyeongChang 2018 figure skating competition.
While Asa Miller, a 17-year-old Filipino-American alpine skier will represent the country at the 2018 Winter Olympics.
In the opening ceremony of PyeongChang 2018, the two proud Filipino athletes have carried the flag of the Philippines.
