Sunshine Cruz admitted trying to save the marriage with her estranged husband.
SUNSHINE CRUZ – The Kapamilya actress Sunshine Cruz admitted something in an interview after a failed marriage with estranged husband Cesar Montano.
Seemingly, the marriage of the celebrity real-life couple Sunshine Cruz and Cesar Montano was so ideal the reason why a lot of people was in a state of astonishment with reports about their separation which eventually led to their annulment.
In an interview on Thursday in Headstart, the Kapamilya actress admitted that she really tried to save their marriage.
“I know that I did everything to save the marriage. It took me 13 years to save it, but na-realize kong talagang walang pupuntahan and we are both miserable already. So I guess it’s time to move on,” she said.
However, before finally pulling the plug of their marriage, she revealed that she “looked unhealthy” and even recalled she was “stick thin” weighing only 110 pounds.
Sunshine and Cesar married in 2000 and had three daughters but eventually ended their marriage with apparent and personal reasons in January 2013.
Allegations told that the reason for their separation is because of the rumored affair of the actor to Krista Miller.
Their separation even led her to file a rap case against Montano telling she experienced “physical harm, obscene accusations, and grave defamation” under her “very domineering, philandering” husband.
“That was the time that I realized na teka, umikot ang mundo ko sa isang tao. It’s time to take care of myself more, and that was the time na nag-exercise na ako, nagpakulay na ako ng buhok,” she further said.
As per the source from a report in ABS-CBN News is where she indicated, “If you want your partner or someone to love you, I think you should start from yourself. Kasi daw walang time para mag-exercise, no, that’s not an excuse. What is 3 times a week, less than an hour a day? Sabi ko, mahalin mo muna ang sarili mo. If matanggap at mahalin mo ang sarili mo, then it will follow naman, meron nang magmamahal sa ‘yo, definitely.”
