RICHARD GOMEZ – Ormoc City Mayor Richard Gomez answers the netizens asking for the vote of his wife Congresswoman Lucy Torres on the P1000 budget allocated for the Commission on Human Rights.
When the news announced that a P1000 budget was allocated for the Commission on Human Rights (CHR), the public went through different state whether they’ll express astonishment, disappointment, amazement, or a lot of other emotions.
Several celebrities also expressed their thoughts about it the moment the budget was approved through votation, 119 over 32 other representatives who are against it.
On the other hand, the netizens were suddenly asking the celebrity turned politician Lucy Torres, the representative of the 4th District of Leyte, as to where her vote went to.
The inquiries were spotted in one of the posts of the female politician on her account in a social media site, specifically, the Instagram.
One netizen commented that he had not seen the name of Lucy on the list of the representatives who are against the allocation.
And then, a series of questions from other netizens followed.

Sana naman hindi sya isa sa 119 na bumoto
please reply the Filipino people is asking you.
Is silence really means “yes”?… I would be very disappointed because i looked up to you ever since…
Yet, there was not a response from Lucy. But her husband, also a celebrity turned politician, was the one who responded to the questions.
Richard’s response is, “The congressmen voted for what is good for their own districts. That is why they are also called representatives, they represent their own districts. Ano ba ang dist tito nyo? Ano ba ang pinili ng congressman nyo? Sana tumakbo na din kayo para yung ingay nyo sa social media dun nyo dalhin sa kongreso.”
