Just recently, a video of GMA anchor Jun Veneracion made rounds online after something unexpected happened while he covers Marawi clash; between government force and the ISIS-backed Maute Group.
In the video, Veneracion can be seen giving an update to Mariz Umali on the current situation in Marawi City. Unexpectedly, a cockerel made a cackling sound behind the reporter while giving the latest updates.
Meanwhile, the 36-year-old game show host went to social media wherein he lauded field reporters who are “putting their lives on the line in dangerous locations.”
“Don’t get me wrong, we should all admire the dedication of all news teams from ALL channels giving us information, especially the field reporters putting their lives on the line in dangerous locations, but this is just a too funny vid! 🙂 and on a very serious note… MABUHAY KAYO lahat ng mga news and current affairs sa lahat ng channel at radyo, salamat sa inyo,” Luis Manzano said as an accompanying caption to the video he shared.
On the other hand, Jun Veneracion did not take negatively Luis Manzano’s posting of his video reporting on Instagram, which according to some netizens hilarious.
The GMA reporter said that “No problem with this post sir, @luckymanzano. Ako din natatawa sa sarili ko,”
“Sana lang the uploader included the serious part which transpired immediately after the funny moment. All good!” he noted.
Luis Manzano added that he is willing to post the whole video reporting as soon as he gets a copy of it.
