Here’s what Robin Padilla said about Daniel Padilla.
Senator Robin Padilla plans to pass his “Bad Boy” role to his nephew, Daniel Padilla, in its next installment.
The one we know as the “Bad Boy of the Philippine Cinema” is Robin Padilla and this was taken from his iconic rugged on-screen anti-hero personas. A film of the same title had also been produced with already three installments and recenty, it seems like he was hinting about its fourth installment.
With this tease, he expressed that he is passing this iconic role to his nephew, well-loved Daniel Padilla. As much as we all know, he started doing action projects after his separation from Kathryn Bernardo, who was his reel and real partner.
During the special screening of Bad Boy 3, he hinted about plans of making its 4th installment, and according to him, Daniel will be playing the lead role of this project.
“Ipapamana ko na ang Bad Boy 4 sa mas batang artista. I-introduce na po namin, si Daniel,” the actor-turned-senator said, and his claims was also supported by Daniel’s father, Rommel Padilla.
“Siyempre nanggaling sa pinanggalingan din, kailangan sa kagalingan din ibibigay,” Rommel said.
When Kaila Estrada’s name was mentioned as a possible leading lady for Daniel Padilla in the fourth installment of Bad Boy, Rommel was quick to express his support for the idea. The veteran actor said he would be delighted to see his son’s rumored girlfriend share the screen with Daniel in the much-anticipated film.
Robin did not disclose any details, but Rommel confirmed that the fourth installment is already in the works. As mentioned, he would be delighted to see Daniel and Kaila share a screen through this project.
To recall, also part of Bad Boy 3 are Dennis Padilla, Nadia Montenegro, Ejay Falcon, Joko Diaz, among others.
