The rumor linking Kathryn Bernardo and Jericho Rosales resurfaced
Asia’s Superstar Kathryn Bernardo was allegedly in a relationship with A-list actor Jericho Rosales before being with Lucena City Mayor Mark Alcala.
Rumor has it that Kathryn and Jericho became a couple. To recall, in 2024, a rumor linking the two Kapamilya surfaced as they were photographed together while jogging.
However, Kathryn and Jericho had already denied that there was romance between them. Eventually, the issue died down.
Just recently, the issue resurfaced because entertainment insider Cristy Fermin opened up about this on the episode of her Showbiz Now Na YouTube show, based on the article in Bandera.
She said that even before it was reported that Kathryn and Mayor Mark were in a relationship, the actress had a previous boyfriend after her breakup with Supreme Idol Daniel Padilla.
“Bago pa lang daw silang nagkakahiwalay ni Daniel Padilla, sila na raw muna ni Jericho Rosales,” Cristy said.
The veteran showbiz insider also recalled several incidents where Kath and Echo were having their jogging session together in Marikina.
“Kasi pagkatapos ng split up nila ni Daniel, wala naman siyang ibang sinamahan, e. Si Jericho lang ‘yong parang tinanggap niya. Sabi pa, ang totoo niyan, sila muna ni Jericho bago si Mayor Mark, kaya lang kumontra si Mommy Min (Bernardo, Kathryn’s mom),” Cristy said.
Meanwhile, until now, Kathryn has not publicly admitted that Mayor Mark Alcala is her boyfriend. The mayor has not yet released any official statement on the true status of the actress and her relationship.
This is even though they have been spotted together several times in public places, including the airport and shopping mall.
Just recently, netizens talked about the alleged Mother’s Day greeting that Mayor Mark had for Mommy Min. With this, netizens commented that Kathryn Bernardo’s mother is in favor of her relationship with the politician.
