Bong Go Arrest Warrant Already Issued by ICC? Paolo Duterte Hits Marcos Jr. Admin

Davao Cong. Paolo Duterte Speaks on Alleged ICC Arrest Warrants vs. Sen. Bong Go, 2 Former Police Officers

BONG GO – Davao Congressman Paolo Duterte claimed that he got an information that the International Criminal Court has already released an arrest warrant against the Senator.

Two (2) of the allies of former President Rodrigo Roa Duterte who were named as his alleged co-perpetrators in the controversial drug war of his administration are senators Christopher Go and Bato dela Rosa. It was previously confirmed that the ICC has already issued an arrest warrant against the latter.

Currently, Sen. Bato dela Rosa is missing and another known Duterte ally, Sen. Robin Padilla, claimed that he won’t speak about his whereabouts even if he knows it. Padilla drew criticisms after he admitted that he was the one who accompanied Dela Rosa in his exit from the Senate during a controversial gun-firing incident that is allegedly “fake” as per the authorities.

Dela Rosa was in hiding for 6 months before he appeared in the chamber and voted for the ouster of then-Senate Pres. Tito Sotto. The former Senate Chief believes that his ouster is possibly related to the possible impeachment trial of Vice Pres. Sara Duterte.

Sen. Bong Go and Sen. Robin Padilla maintained that they will remain in the Duterte bloc even if there will only be two (2) of them left there. Currently, Sen. Bato dela Rosa is hiding amid the authorities’ pursuit to find him.

The Department of Justice (DOJ) previously confirmed that the arrest warrant against Dela Rosa is valid and he is now considered as “fugitive” under the law. The justice department ordered his arrest.

Recently, amid Sen. Bato dela Rosa’s hiding, Davao Cong. Paolo Duterte claimed that he received an information from a “highly reliable source” that the ICC has allegedly released the arrest warrant against Sen. Bong Go. Based on his post, two (2) former police officers are also subject of the ICC arrest warrant.

Davao Cong. Paolo Duterte accused the Marcos Jr. administration of allegedly using the ICC as a political weapon against its enemies. He called on the administration to stop from allegedly using the government agencies in silencing the bigger issue of corruption.

“Halos lahat ng ahensya ng gobyerno ay ginamit ng administrasyong ito para tugisin ang kanilang mga kalaban sa pulitika. Mula sa Ombudsman hanggang sa hudikatura, na nanatiling tahimik para hindi tugisin ng mga Marcos,” Duterte stated in his post.

The camp of Sen. Bong Go has yet to issue a statement and there is no confirmation yet if an ICC arrest warrant has been released against him. Recently, amid the hiding of the “ICC wanted” Senator, Sen. Robin Padilla called on the Senate for Sen. Bato dela Rosa to be allowed to work online.
