Julia Montes and Coco Martin’s reunion series was already announced
The absence of Kapamilya actress Julia Montes in the teaser of the upcoming series Sigabo was noticed.
It was announced earlier this year that Julia and her real-life partner, Kapamilya primetime king Coco Martin, will have their reunion project. Many fans expressed excitement for this.
Previous reports stated that it will air a little after the finale of Coco’s Batang Quiapo series. However, it was postponed. Kim Chiu and Paulo Avelino’s series, The Alibi, initially occupied the first slot on ABS-CBN’s primetime programming.
Then, it was replaced by Richard Gutierrez’s action-drama series Blood vs Duty, with Gerald Anderson, Bela Padilla, and Barbie Imperial.
In a recent episode of Cristy Ferminute of Cristy Fermin and Romel Chika, they talked about the absence of Julia Montes in the teaser of Sigabo. Allegedly, the reason for this was that Julia is pregnant, based on the article in Newsko.
“Ang daming nagtatanong bakit wala na sa teaser si Julia Montes sa Sigabo ni Coco Martin? May mga lumabas na materyales na magkasama sila, magkaeksena bakit biglang wala na?” Cristy said.
Then, she mentioned that there is a speculation that Julia would no longer be part of the series.
“At heto na nga po, matinding pinag-uusapan ngayon sa loob at labas ng showbiz na ang dahilan nga po kung bakit papalitan na si Julia Montes sa Sigabo, ang bagong serye ni Coco Martin ay dahil sa kanyang pagdadalang-tao,” the veteran showbiz insider said.
Then, Cristy pointed out that there is no need to hide this kind of thing since Julia and Coco are a couple.
“It is always a blessing, di ba? Nahahalata na rin naman wala na rin kasing maaaring itago pa at open secret naman ‘yung dati pa, sabi nga ni Willie Revillame, ‘O, Julia, Coco salamat sa inyo kumusta sa mga anak n’yo. Ha-hahahaha! Sabi ni Kuya Will, di ba?” she said.
To recall, there was a time when Willie publicly thanked Coco, Julia, and their “children.”
Cristy pointed out that if this is ever true, there is nothing wrong with this. Then, she mentioned that there were speculations that Ange Locsin would replace Julia Montes or that another actress would take the lead female role.
