Boy Abunda On Controversial Remarks Of Alvin Aragon: “You cannot impose your faith, parenting style”

Here’s how Boy Abunda reacted to the anti-gay remarks of Alvin Aragon.

King Of Talk Boy Abunda spoke on national TV, addressing the remarks made by Alvin Aragon about the LGBTQIA+ community.

Kamusta world?”

This is just a few words of Alvin Aragon against the LGBTQIA+ community. While he paints himself as a religious man, with his own doings based on the Bible, he seems to have forgotten the basic respect that everyone deserves, especially with their choices. He condemned such acts that he even dropped the names of those who kept their peace and silence amid his controversial remarks.

Recently, King of Talk Boy Abunda reacted to his remarks through his Kapuso show. According to him, Aragon crossed a line when he mentioned and dragged the names of several public figures, including K Brosas, Ian Veneracion, and Gloc-9, who openly accept their LGBTQIA+ children.

While he understands where he is coming from because of his faith, he felt Aragon “overstretched” and was wrong when he imposed that they were the ones who were right when they rejected the idea and put themselves above those parents and people “who chose to embrace and who continue to choose to embrace their children with love, with dignity, with kindness, with compassion.”

Drawing from his own experience, the veteran host shared that he helped raise his lesbian niece, whom he described as a good and decent person. He emphasized that being able to face God and say you have lived a good life is the “true measure of humanity.”

Directly addressing Aragon, Abunda firmly expressed that he should not impose his own faith and personal beliefs on others.

“Alvin, you cannot impose your faith. You cannot impose your parenting style. You cannot impose yourself on us. Walang puwedeng magsabi sa amin, not you, not anyone.
