Why is Shuvee Etrata not part of the series?
‘PBB’ collab alums will headline ABS-CBN and GMA’s series “The Secrets of Hotel 88,” and this is why Shuvee Etrata is not a part of it.
The alums of “Pinoy Big Brother: Celebrity Collab Edition” are set to headline ABS-CBN and GMA Network’s new collaborative project, the multi-genre series “The Secrets of Hotel 88.”
The cast includes Kapuso housemates Mika Salamanca, Will Ashley, AZ Martinez, Dustin Yu, and Josh Ford, and Kapamilya housemates Brent Manalo, River Joseph, Ralph De Leon, Esnyr Ranollo, Bianca De Vera, Xyriel Manabat, Kira Balinger, and Klarisse De Guzman.
The housemates said the last time they were all together was during their “The Big ColLove” concert in August, and since then, their busy schedules have prevented them from having a proper reunion.
However, people online noticed that Shuvee Etrata, one of the well-loved housemates, was not a part of the official cast. It was previously reported that, despite not having an official part in the series, she will be participating as a guest. This is because it would conflict with another series she is set to star in.
Recently, in a video clip, Shuvee clarified why she is not a part of “The Secrets of Hotel 88” again, and according to her, she already talked with GMA Network Senior Vice President Annette Gozon-Valdes about this.
She added that it was “truly made” for MikBrent, the collective name of the season’s big winners Mika Salamanca and Brent Manalo. She added that the housemates, especially those who were chosen not to be part of it, also have other jobs.
Shuvee said, “For all the PBB housemates, however, you also need to understand that each housemates, especially us na pinili talaga na hindi mapasama sa show, maraming other jobs.”
