GGV, or the “Gandang Gabi Vice,” is the late -night talk show aired by ABS-CBN. This show is hosted by ABS-CBN superstar Vice Ganda, featuring different stars every week. The trademark of this show is the funny banter of the host with the guests. This is well-loved for the entertainment it offers to the people.
It premiered on May 22, 2011, and its last episode was on March 8, 2020, with Raffy Tulfo as its last guest after almost 9 years. Replays of the show were aired from March 15, 2020, until the ABS-CBN shutdown after the media company failed to secure a franchise renewal.
Recently, The Varsitarian reported that Vice has teased about the comeback of the program. One of the posts in a series stated, “Vice Ganda teases the return of Gandang Gabi Vice.”
This was during her appearance as the celebrity guest on “Inkblots,” a show sponsored by The Varsitarian. This is the official student publication of the University of Santo Tomas. This brief tease was enough to send netizens into full speculation mode.

Meanwhile, Vice just won her Best Actor award from the Metro Manila Film Festival (MMFF) 2025 for the film “Call Me Mother.” She was overwhelmed with gratitude after finally winning the award on his fourth nomination.
Other nominations came from “Girl, Boy, Bakla, Tomboy” the following year and last year’s “And The Breadwinner Is…” for which Vice received a Special Jury Citation.
Vice was up against Will Ashley of “Love You So Bad,” Carlo Aquino of “Bar Boys: After School,” Earl Amaba of “I’mPerfect,” Piolo Pascual of “Manila’s Finest,” and Zanjoe Marudo of “Unmarry.”
