This is what Vice Ganda shared about the viral incident.
Kapamilya superstar Vice Ganda speaks about the video of her at the airport that went massively viral over the weekend.
“Ay si ano ‘to artista, artista ito, si ano ito. Ito ‘yung sikat na artista sa Pilipinas. Uwi ka na ng Pinas? Happy New Year,” was the line of the uploader who shared a video of Vice Ganda when she saw her at the airport. She was saying she did not know the Unkabogable Star, and over the weekend, her upload became huge.
“Happy New Year po. Hindi niyo nga ‘ko kilala, ate,” Vice Ganda had replied to her in the video.
Recently, in the “Laro, Laro, Pick” segment of “It’s Showtime,” Vice recalled the incident after seeing the uncanny resemblance of a contestant to the uploader of her video. The superstar comedian reenacted the incident and slammed the uploader.Â
“Kamukha mo ‘yung nagvivideo sa ‘kin sa airport. ‘Ay kilala ko ‘to eh, sikat ‘to eh, sikat ‘to eh. Artista ‘to eh, sikat ‘tong artista ‘to eh,'” she said, and added, “Tapos echusera, hindi niya raw alam pangalan ko eh, kitang-kita ko siya nung nakita niya ‘ko, ‘Ay si Vice Ganda’ tapos vinideo ako.”Â

She added that the uploader went out of his way to approach her and ended her account there. She chose not to share the full story, noting that the uploader had deliberately edited the video and posted only part of the incident. Should she share the whole story, the uploader would face additional criticism.
“Ayoko na ikwento kasi mababash ka lalo, day. Malala. Nang-ano siya. Cinontent ako, girl. Nagmamadali na ako, malelate na ako,” Vice shared in the video.
Meanwhile, the actor-comedian headlines the Metro Manila Film Festival (MMFF) entry Call Me Mother, earning the Best Actor award for his performance. The film is directed by Jun Robles Lana and features Nadine Lustre, Lucas Andalio, Esnyr, John Lapus, Klarisse de Guzman, Mika Salamanca, Brent Manalo, River Joseph, and Shuvee Etrata.
