In an Instagram post, Vice Ganda shares thoughts about corrupt officials.
One of the top taxpayers in 2024, superstar comedian Vice Ganda, has this post amid the buzz regarding the rampant corruption in the country.
The country is presently stirred by allegations of irregularities in multi-billion-peso flood control projects. Several contractors have been identified and summoned to give explanations, as many of these projects were found ineffective—some reportedly used substandard materials, while others were discovered to be entirely non-existent.

Amid the talks and allegations, Vice Ganda, one of the top taxpayers in 2024, aired her thoughts.
As much as we all know, the lawmakers are currently probing these projects, as despite the massive figures involved in these projects, the country is still easily drenched and submerged during storms. Through the years, the situation just gets worse, and in a previous article, President Bongbong Marcos even called this a new normal for the country.
The comedian is currently in London and, to cut costs given the high prices there, chose to cook their own meals and simply reheat the dishes afterward. But this made her wonder why they are doing this when the corrupt officials are living in comfort off her taxes.
“Super tipid ako dito sa London kasi ang mahal. Kaya namalengke na lang kami nung first day at nagluto dito sa air bnb. Pangatlong araw na naming iniinit tong natirang adobo. Tapos bigla kong naalala ung milyon milyon kong tax na pinaghahati-hatian ng mga garapal na magnanakaw. Aray koooo!!!!” her full post read.

To recall, Vice is among the top taxpayers in Quezon City.
