One LPA spotted 1,140 km. east of Central Luzon has a high chance of becoming a tropical cyclone.

The other low-pressure area was spotted 340 kilometers East of Calayan, Cagayan, and has a medium chance of developing into a cyclone.

The two LPAs enhance the southwest monsoon, which will bring cloudy skies and rains over Metro Manila, CALABARZON, Zambales, Bataan, Pampanga, Bulacan, and Occidental Mindoro.

Habagat will also bring occasional rains like Benguet, Tarlac, Marinduque, and Oriental Mindoro.

The LPA’s trough will bring similar weather conditions to Cagayan Valley.

The southwest monsoon will bring partly cloudy to cloudy skies with isolated rain showers or thunderstorms over the rest of Mindanao.

The weather agency has advised the residents in the affected areas to take precautionary measures for possible flash floods or landslides due to moderate to at times heavy rains and severe thunderstorms.

A red rainfall warning was raised over Metro Manila, Bataan, Cavite (Bacoor, Dasmariñas, Kawit, Noveleta, Imus, Cavite City, General Trias, Rosario).

The coastal water condition over the western section of Luzon will be moderate to rough. The eastern section of Northern Luzon, the rest of Luzon and the Visayas will have moderate waters.

Mindanao will have slight to moderate surrounding sea conditions, according to PAGASA.
