Dina Bonnevie is known for her frankness
Seasoned actress Dina Bonnevie said it is a natural thing for her to be frank, whether people like it or not.
Dina is one of the most respected actresses in the Philippine entertainment industry. With the various projects she did over the years, her name as a prominent actress was well-established.
Aside from her acting caliber, Dina is known for her frankness. She’s not afraid to say her honest opinion or whatever issue is being thrown at her.

In a recent interview, based on the article in ABS-CBN, the seasoned actress said that she does not mind the bashing that people throw at her because, for her, that was people’s opinions. On the other hand, if the opinion is valid, she would gladly take it and try to improve herself.
“’Pero kung halimbawa nonsense ‘yung bashing niya, ‘Eh ‘di ikaw na rito.’ At sasabihin ko, ‘If you can do it better than me, resign na ako. Ngayon, kung sa tingin ko na I can still do a better job, eh, shut up ka,” the seasoned actress said.
Dina also pointed out that not every criticism should be answered and when answering is required, there should be respect. She will always have that frankness in her. “Kaya lang, ‘di ba, you can’t be mean to people. Sabi ko nga, you all know me. I am me kasi hindi ako marunong mang-plastic,” the actress stressed.

Dina is aware that there would be two reactions to her frankness. Some people would hate her for it, while some would love that trait. “I’m not Dina Bonnevie if I’m not honest. Prangka ako. Wala akong magagawa,” she said.
Just recently, Dina Bonnevie explained her viral statement about young stars who look the same because of cosmetic enhancements. She clarified that she did not mention any name and she was not referring to Jane de Leon and Alexa Miro.
