WASHINGTON, United States – President-elect Donald Trump attributes his Presidential election victory to his provocative use of Twitter and other social media platforms at the height of his campaign for the White House.
According to Trump, social media gave him a way of “fighting back” and criticize his opponents and promote his candidacy during his campaign trail.
In an interview on CBS, Trump said with some reluctance that he would be more restrained in his frequent use of social media once he is already installed in the White House, but he said that it was nothing to be ashamed of.

Trump said that he had such power in terms of numbers with social media platforms like Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, among others, and he thinks that it helped him win all these races without spending as much as his opponents did.
