PAGASA Says 3 Weather Systems to Affect PH Weather Condition

PAGASA LATEST UPDATE – The state weather reported that three weather systems will bring rain over most parts of the country.

On Wednesday (December 11, 2024), the Philippine Atmospheric, Geophysical and Astronomical Services Administration released the latest weather update in the country. The northeast monsoon, shear line, and easterlies will affect the country’s weather conditions.

PAGASA weather specialist Benison Estareja reported that shear line, easterlies, and Northeast Monsoon will continue to bring cloudy skies with rains over parts of the country.

The shear line will bring cloudy weather conditions with scattered rains and isolated thunderstorms over Metro Manila, CALABARZON, Nueva Ecija, Bulacan, Aurora, Camarines Norte, Camarines Sur, and Catanduanes.

The easterlies will bring cloudy skies with scattered rains and thunderstorms over Eastern Samar, Dinagat Islands, Surigao del Norte, and Surigao del Sur.

The northeast monsoon will bring cloudy skies with rains over Cagayan Valley, Apayao, Kalinga, Mountain Province, and Ifugao.

Amihan will also bring partly cloudy to cloudy skies with isolated light rains in Ilocos Region, and the rest of Cordillera Administrative Region and Central Luzon.

The easterlies will bring similar weather conditions over the remaining parts of the country.

The weather agency has warned the public for possible flash floods or landslides due to moderate to heavy rains and severe thunderstorms.

No gale warning was raised in any of the country’s seaboards, according to PAGASA.
