Here’s an update about Typhoon Marce from PAGASA.
TYPHOON MARCE UPDATE – More areas in Luzon were placed under Signal No. 3 because of the typhoon based on the update.
Marce PH, which is now in the typhoon category, further intensifies as it moves toward the Northern Mainland Cagayan-Babuyan Islands area. Based on all available data from the Philippine Atmospheric, Geophysical, and Astronomical Services Administration (PAGASA), Marce’s center was spotted 240 km East of Aparri, Cagayan.
It has a maximum sustained winds of 155 km/h near the center and gustiness of up to 190 km/h

Signal No. 3 (Moderate to significant threat to life and property)

- The northern and central portions of mainland Cagayan (Santa Ana, Gonzaga, Lal-Lo, Santa Teresita, Buguey, Aparri, Camalaniugan, Allacapan, Gattaran, Lasam, Ballesteros, Baggao, Alcala, Santo Niño, Rizal, Abulug, Pamplona, Sanchez-Mira, Claveria, Santa Praxedes) including Babuyan Islands, and the eastern portion of Apayao (Flora, Santa Marcela, Luna, Pudtol)
Currently, its movement is west northwestward at 10 kph and will continue in this direction before gradually accelerating Thursday through Saturday over the Babuyan Channel.
Marce may exit the Philippine area of responsibility by Friday evening.
