The nationwide talent reality show Pilipinas Got Talent returns for its 7th season.
PILIPINAS GOT TALENT – The biggest nationwide talent reality show is coming back and here are some details for the audition.
ABS-CBN’s popular talent reality show Pilipinas Got Talent or PGT is coming back for its seventh season and this was confirmed through an announcement on the show’s social media platforms.
To recall, the talent reality show was first aired in 2010 and since then, it already named six winners.
The winners from the previous seasons are:
- Jovit Baldivino (Season 1)
- Marcelito Pomoy (Season 2)
- Maasinhon Trio (Season 3)
- Roel Manlangit (Season 4)
- Power Duo (Season 5)
- Kristel de Catalina (Season 6)
For the new season, the auditions are now open for aspiring people with talents of all ages. The post said, “Abangan kung ikaw na ang susunod na magpapakitang gilas sa harap ng judges sa pagbabalik ng ‘Pilipinas Got Talent.'”
It could be solo, as a duo, or in a group. The hopeful participants are encouraged to submit a one to two-minute audition video to www.joinnow.ph/pgt7.
In the previous seasons, they held auditions in key cities such as Manila, Baguio, Batangas, Cebu, Davao, and Cagayan de Oro. The first season premiered on February 20, 2010, and ended on June 13, 2010. The second and a third season aired back to back in 2011 and the fourth season in 2013. Two and a half years later, the fifth season aired in 2016, and the sixth season started airing on January 6, 2018.
Vice Ganda, Angel Locsin, Robin Padilla, and Freddie “FMG” M. Garcia were on the panel of judges. The original panel of judges were formed by Kris Aquino, Ai-Ai delas Alas, and former ABS-CBN general manager Freddie M. Garcia but this composition lasted until the fourth season of the show in 2013.
