Actress-vlogger Jessy Mendiola shares the time when she almost broke up with Luis Manzano who was already her husband at that time.
Being in a place where you’d want to end a marriage is a tough situation. It’s no easy task to do this and in the first place, it’s actually never a task at all. It’s your last resort after exhausting everything you can possibly do to save it. For Jessy Mendiola, she’s been through this situation but she was glad she held on for longer.
In the new video of Jessy, she and her husband Luis Manzano filmed a fun “Truth or Dare” vlog.
One of the questions asked that Jessy truthfully answered was: “Describe the time you almost broke up with your spouse.”
In the video, Jessy recalled that it was the time when they were just one year into the marriage and they don’t have Peanut yet. According to her, this was the time when her husband faced a big issue with a friend that it almost broke their marriage.
He was no longer listening to her and there came a point even when she felt like he was already siding that person he considers as a family. She’s a wife as well and a family but he refused to listen to what she said she almost lost hope.
She went to his mother Vilma Santos and expressed that she loves her son but she could not do it anymore because he won’t listen. She was told to hold for longer as for one, they are just basically new in marriage setup.
At that time as well, he was already asking her if they could have a child and in this aspect, she was the one to refuse. Mendiola told her husband that he is not yet ready to be a father as he could not fully commit to her and the family they are to build. He chose the other person and for her, this is very unbecoming of being a father.
She held on a little longer and it was the time it took for him to come to a realization.
Jessy admitted how hard it was to be on the verge of breaking up with him but then she remembered that they were already married. It turned out, what happened just made their relationship stronger as per their video.
