Black Wedding Ceremony in Alaminos City Goes Viral

A lovely couple who choose a black wedding ceremony at the Garden of Remembrance Memorial Park in Alaminos City goes viral.

On December 28, 2023, Engr. Ronald Versosa and Marelinda Caranay opted for a Black Wedding Ceremony in Alaminos City. The memorial park adorned with crowns, funeral candles, and two designed coffins, each featuring life-sized pictures of the bride and groom.

The bride’s bridal carriage was decorated with an ancient coffin. This wedding was a long-planned decision, according to the groom. He quickly pointed out that what he meant was that this theme perfectly represents his identity, which is linked to darkness and the band scene.

He explained, “Kasi yun po ang pagkatao ko, Banda! itim! death!”

He explained that his wife totally accepted his identity, and he expressed gratitude for her support. Engr. Arnold Versosa, the groom’s brother shared insight into the family’s perspective, stating that while some relatives may be opposed to such weddings, they all stand by and support his brother’s decision.

“Whatever my brother wants, we support him, What we think right now is the symbol of love, what is the symbol of love? Did anybody realize why my brother chose this kind of wedding? This black wedding? Because until the end their love will never die. That is what is in my mind when i received the invitation,” Arnold said.

The reception, held at the memorial park, was also designed with the black motif in mind. The celebration continued with the lively performance of a band close to Versosa’s heart.
