Allan de Castro admitted that he and Catherine Camilon had an “illicit relationship”

Major Allan de Castro, the prime suspect in the disappearance of Miss Grand Philippines 2023 candidate Catherine Camilon, remained silent on the accusation against him.

Catherine was reported missing by her family on October 12. She was last seen on CCTV at a mall in Batangas on the night of her disappearance. Initially, her family could not pinpoint the possible motive of her disappearance as what they knew, Catherine was not in a relationship with someone.

It was also reported that the beauty queen told her mother that she was going to Balisong Channel, the online media company in which Catherine was previously working as a talent. However, this was denied by the company in a statement it released.

Eventually, the Philippine National Police (PNP) released a statement that they identified the person of interest in the disappearance of Catherine Camilon.

Major Allan de Castro’s identity was revealed. It was said that he was actually the boyfriend of the beauty queen. Catherine’s friend revealed their relationship and conversations between the policeman and the beauty queen revealed.

Amid the accusation against him, De Castro was in “general denial” as he denied his involvement in this case.

However, there was one thing that the policeman admitted and it was his “illicit relationship” with Catherine, based on the article in PEP. It was also said that the beauty queen already reported in the past that she experienced physical abuse from her boyfriend.
