The police authorities arrested two minors in Lapu-Lapu City for vandalism. The two were sent to CSWS office.

Recently, two individuals, who have not yet attained the legal age of adulthood, were taken into custody by the vigilant police force of Lapu-Lapu City for their involvement in an act of vandalism.

On Saturday, (April 22, 2023), Mayor Junard Chan expressed his concern and stern stance against such delinquent behavior of two teenager.

Two Minors

Mayor Chan, recognizing the need for appropriate intervention, has directed the authorities to bring the two minors to the City Social Welfare and Services (CSWS) office. The CSWS office is responsible for providing welfare and support services to vulnerable individuals, including minors who have found themselves on the wrong side of the law.

In addition to taking decisive action against the two arrested minors, Mayor Chan is taking a proactive approach to deter similar acts of vandalism in the future.

The City Mayor is offering a cash reward of P20,000 to anyone who provides credible information that leads to the identification and subsequent arrest of other individuals involved in vandalism within their city.
