Dimples Romana unlocked a new achievement
Actress and host Dimples Romana has celebrated a major personal milestone, which is purchasing her first-ever car dedicated solely to her own use, after thirty years of relentless hard work.
Dimples is one of the highly respected Filipina actresses and television personalities with a career spanning nearly 3 decades. She showcased her versatility in playing both beloved protagonists and iconic “kontrabida” or antagonist roles.
With how she handled her success in the entertainment industry, the actress also showed how smart she is in handling her finances.
Aside from her acting career, Dimples also had some business ventures. In a recent vlog, she shared the moment she finally put herself first, unveiling her choice of ride—a sleek, two-seater Mazda Miata MX-5 RF, based on the article in ABS-CBN.
“For 30 long years na nagtatrabaho ako, the car that I would always buy would be shared with my family. But this time, I’m buying this for only one person because there’s only two seats for the car, so I can only date one. For example si Papa Boyet, si Callie or si Alonzo or si Elio kapag lumaki na or whoever one friend I’m going to be driving with,” Dimples Romana shared.
She picked a vibrant new color for her car and asked her fans to help her come up with the perfect name for it.
“Please help me decide the name na of the car, pero syempre dapat bagay sa color na binili ko. Hint lang na all the cars I bought in the past were all white but this time I’m being brave and I’m going with my power color,” the actress expressed.
The sleek red sports car echoes the bold lipstick and viral attire Dimples wore as the iconic “primera kontrabida” Daniela Mondragon in the Kapamilya defunct afternoon series Kadenang Ginto. Given the striking resemblance, it is only fitting that she is thinking of naming the vehicle after her legendary character.
“#OhDani Hindi muna maleta ang kasama kong magtravel this time, Ikaw na [red car emoji] Shall we name her Daniela or Dani Girl? [dancer emoji],” she added.
Dimples Romana expressed her pride in achieving a lifelong dream, made even more meaningful by the knowledge that it was the result of years of hard work.
