A source spoke about the recent photo of Willie Revillame with GMA executives
Rumor has it that veteran TV host Willie Revillame will return to GMA Network, but a source debunked this.
Willie’s game show used to air on the Kapuso network from 2015 to 2022. When he decided to transfer to ALLTV, he stressed that there was no conflict between him and the network. Shortly after her transfer to the TV network owned by his friend, billionaire businessman Manny Villar, the veteran host deciced to resign.
Later on, his Wil To Win show aired on TV5, but this was cut short when he decided to run for senator in the 2025 midterm elections. which wa not victorious for him.
Just recently, a photo of Willie Reviillame with TV executives, GMA Network Senior Vice President Annette Gozon-Valdes, and Sparkle GMA Artist Center First Vice President Joy Marcelo garnered speculations that this was a signal that he will soon go back to the Kapuso network.
However, based on the article in Abante, on Bilyonaryo’s Facebook page, the news site revealed that the GMA executives and Willie did not talk about the rumored return of Wowowin to the Kapuso network.
“No return talks: Willie Revillame-GMA meeting just a catch-up focused on logistics, including helipad and yacht use — source,” BNC stated.
The news site also stressed that “The recent sighting of Willie Revillame dining with GMA Network executives sparked speculation that the TV host and entrepreneur may be eyeing a return to the network but a source has downplayed the rumors.”
BNC also said that Willie’s meeting with GMA executives was informal and not focused on any show or contract.
Some say that they doubt that Willie’s “Wowowin” will return to GMA and that it will likely be on a TV network that seems to be the TV host’s “fave” right now.
