Ian de Leon Asserts He’s Not Excluding His Siblings In Matters About Nora Aunor

Ian de Leon talked about his responsibility after his mother’s death

Actor Ian de Leon asserted that he is not excluding his siblings in the matters about their mother, the late Superstar Nora Aunor.

Nora’s death devastated her loved ones, colleagues, and her fans who had followed her career. Last April 16, her loved ones commemorated her first death anniversary.

However, a controversy surfaced amid this. Ian had an event to honor his mother, without his siblings. This created speculations that there was a conflict between them. His statement affirming that he is the sole heir of his mother, also brought intrigue.

Ian de Leon is the only biological child of Nora Aunor and Christopher de Leon. His siblings, Lotlot, Kenneth, Kiko, and Matet de Leon, are adopted children of his parents.

Previously, Lotlot, through her legal counsel, stressed that she is not interested in her mother’s inheritance. Then, Matet shared an intriguing post. The former child star shared a photo with Lotlot, Kenneth, and Kiko, with the caption, “mga ampon na walang mana.”

In a recent interview, based on the article in PEP, Ian de Leon said that it is now his responsibility to look after what Nora Aunor left. However, he stressed that he is not excluding other members of their family.

And like what I’ve said, it does not exclude any family members. I decided just to fast track things, eventually the OPC [One Person Corporation] will become a corporation. Everyone is welcome on the boat,” the actor said.

Ian was asked if he consulted his siblings regarding this matter, he said that he discussed this with some of them. On the other hand, he did not mention who. Kiko de Leon was the only one present during the event that the actor organized for Nora at the Libingan ng mga Bayani.

However, Ian said that whatever issue he and his siblings have, he is hoping that this will be resolved.

Each family has its own issues. It just happened that we’re in the limelight, and unfortunately, siyempre di natin maiiwasan. But in God’s good graces and in His time, everything will fall into place. Probably sooner or later, everything will be patched up. It’s a matter of time,” the actor said.
