Matet de Leon caught netizens attention because of this intriguing post
Actress Matet de Leon shared a post showing her photo with her siblings with an intriguing caption.
Matet rose to fame in the entertainment industry as a child star. She is one of th adopted children of showbiz veterans Christopher de Leon and the late Supestar Nora Aunor. They also adopted Kenneth, Kiko, and actress Lotlot de Leon. Nora and Christopher had their biological son Ian de Leon.
When Nora died on April 16 last year, her children were there showing their love for her.
However, a recent issue surfaced between them. Ian affirmed his role as a sole legal heir of their mother. This caught the attention of showbiz fans as it seemed that Ian was disregarding his adopted de Leon siblings.
Lotlot released a statement, through her legal counsel Atty. Mark Julius C. Estur, stressing that she is not after their mother’s inheritance.
“Our client stands independently and refuses to be part of a false narrative. We ask the public and media to kindly ensure that her name is not used in association with Mr. lan De Leon’s efforts. No further comments on this matter shall be made,” the statement stressed.
Amid this issue, Matet de Leon shared a post on her Facebook page, which caught the attention of the online community. “Post ko lang uli. Eto nga pala ang ngiti ng mga ampon na walang mana. [Smilig face with sunglasses emoji] Mukha ba kaming may pake?” the actress wrote in the caption of her post.
With this, netizens could not help but speculate that it had something to do with the issue issue with their brother.
In the comment section of her post, some netizens pointed out that it’s fine if she has no inheritance because her parents had provided for her and her adopted siblings. while some netizens showed support for Matet de Leon.
