Kim Chiu celebrated her birthday on It’s Showtime
Kapamilya actress Kim Chiu shared her birthday “hugot” after her performance on the noontime show It’s Showtime.
Kim turned 36 last April 19. The actress received many birthday greetings from her fans, loved ones, and friends in the entertainment industry. Her onscreen partner, actor Paulo Avelino, also shared a birthday post for her.
Paulo shared a video of Kim doing her quirky dance, and he simply wrote “Happy Birthday Kimmy.” Even with this simple birthday greeting, KimPau fans could not help but feel “kilig” as some speculated that there is already something special between the two Kapamilya stars.
As part of her birthday celebration, Kim Chiu performed the song “Flashlight” on It’s Showtime, according to a Bandera article.
After her performance, Kim shared a message. She shared her wish, expressed gratitude, and had her birthday “hugot.” “My ultimate birthday wish is ultimate happiness I’m so happy and I’m so grateful dahil everyday binibigyan niyo ako ng chance to redeem myself and to be better in front of madlang people,” she said.
Then, the actress mentioned the tough times that she was able to surpass. “Kahit ano ang ibato sa akin lumalakas ako. Wala talagang perfect pero binibigyan niyo ako ng paulit-ulit na pagkakataon,” Kim said.
She also thanked her home network and the noontime show for loving and trusting her even though she is not that “super galing” in what she does. “Kaya I reach my ultimate happiness because of you,” the actress added.
Aside from this celebration, Kim Chiu also did not forget to give back. As part of her birthday tradition, the actress had her charity event to celebrate her special day. She gave out free gasoline, groceries, and food to drivers and other people. Because of this, the actress received praise from netizens.
