Based on the post, Pres. Bongbong Marcos also relayed that he recently visited a public market to check on the prices implemented on the basic goods and commodities sold to the public. The Chief Executive claimed that he did not spot any overpricing so far as the costs are based on the suggested retail prices of the products.

Marcos Jr. also told the public to wait for the possible implementation of the price cap on rice as the government is already looking into it. Based on the post, fuel subsidies will be extended to farmers and fishermen and there are already ongoing programs to help them.

This week, another bigtime oil price hike is expected in the Philippines.
