Eman Pacquiao Speaks About Pressure In Carrying Pacquiao Name

This is what Eman Pacquiao shared about the pressure because of his last name.

Actor-boxer Eman Pacquiao has this to say about the pressure of carrying the “Pacquiao” as his last name.

After years of emotional distance, boxing legend Manny Pacquiao has reached the point of reconciliation with his son, Eman Bacosa Pacquiao. Apologies and forgiveness were made, and Eman has been following in his father’s footsteps in boxing.

The legendary boxer is in full support of his son’s career, whether in boxing and showbiz, and when they reconciled, he even finally let him use his last name.

Eman is the son of Pacquiao and Joanna Rose Bacosa, with whom the boxing legend had a relationship in 2003. Born on January 2, 2004, he was raised using his mother’s surname and experienced emotional challenges growing up without his father present.

Now, being widely recognized as the son of the boxing legend, Eman admitted that there’s a certain amount of pressure in carrying his last name. The expectations weigh heavily on him, especially in boxing, but he refuses to let it weigh him down.

The pressure is undeniable, but he chose to focus on the positive side of this pressure.

Nagpa-pray lang ako kay Lord, saan man niya ako ilagay sa buhay ko,” he added as he expressed adjusting his perspective on the more positive side of the matter.

Pacman is one of the greatest boxers of all time, distinguished as the only eight-division world champion in boxing history. He won a total of 12 major world titles and was named “Fighter of the Decade” (2000s) by the BWAA, WBC, and WBO.
