Khalil Ramos stars in this upcoming series with Barbie Forteza
Kapuso actor-singer Khalil Ramos talked about his experience working with Kapuso primetime princess Barbie Forteza in the upcoming series Honor Thy Mother.
Khalil has come a long way since he became a runner-up in ABS-CBN’s Pilipinas Got Talent (Season 3) back in 2011. After that stint from the talent show, he was given a chance to be part of various acting projects, while still doing some stints in music.
Eventually, he ventured into musical theater, which further showcased his talent. One of the recent acting projects he was able to star in was a teleserye with Barbie, which also features Megastar Sharon Cuneta.
In a recent interview, based on the article in GMA Entertainment, Khalil Ramos commended Barbie Forteza.
“Everything that you need as a co-actor, you get it from her,” he said about the Kapuso primetime princess. This is his third project with Barbie.
“The first time one was a very quick stint during Maria Clara at Ibarra. The second one is a project that we’re currently doing. We’re doing a film together and then this is the third one na,” Khalil shared.
The actor-singer also said that Barbie is one of the best actresses of their generation. He is happy and excited about sharing the same frame with her.
“I think everyone knows that Barbie is such a wonderful actor. She is one of our generation’s best. To be sharing the screen with her again is an honor,” the actor-singer said.
Khalil also said that Barbie is someone whom he respects, and he enjoys working with her.
The series, which is a collaboration between three media companies – GMA, ABS-CBN, and Prime Video – also features seasoned actor John Estrada. As of this writing, no details have been shared about the airing date.
