7 Vehicles Queuing at Gasoline Station Collided in Batasan Hills
Seven vehicles queuing inside a gasoline station in Barangay Batasan Hills, Quezon City collided while waiting for their turn.
On Sunday afternoon (March 8, 2026), the incident started when a red compact crossover SUV suddenly hit several vehicles that were lined up at the gas station.
The cars were waiting their turn to refuel when the unexpected crash happened, According to the investigation of the Traffic Sector 5 of the Quezon City Police District.

Authorities learned that the SUV was being driven by an 80-year-old man. The senior driver had just finished refueling his vehicle and was waiting for the staff to add air to one of his tires. While waiting, he reportedly began to feel tightness in his chest.
Because of sudden discomfort, the elderly driver lost control of the steering wheel. His vehicle reportedly moved back and forth and turned unexpectedly, hitting the vehicles around it.
In just a short moment, six other vehicles in the area were struck by the SUV, causing a chain collision inside the gas station.

Fortunately, police confirmed that none of the drivers or passengers involved in the crash were injured. Although several vehicles were damaged, everyone inside them was safe.
Barangay responders quickly arrived at the scene and brought the elderly driver to the hospital to make sure he received proper medical attention. Reports later said that he is now in stable condition.
The family of the driver has already spoken with the owners of the damaged vehicles. They assured them that they are willing to take responsibility and cover the repair costs for the cars that were affected by the incident.

While the accident caused damage and concern, many were relieved that no lives were harmed.
