Woman Elicits Reactions After Accidentally Sending Money to Wrong GCash Account
A woman received numerous comments online after she accidentally sent money to the wrong GCash account. The money was supposed to be used to buy milk for her child.
Recently, Belle Elleb, a Facebook user, shared screenshots of her messages to the person who mistakenly received the money through GCash. The post quickly went viral and gained reactions online.
Belle accidentally sent P300 to the wrong number while trying to cash out. She admitted that she failed to double-check the number before pressing the send. The number was given to her without a name, which made it harder to confirm if it was correct.
After realizing her mistake, she immediately called the number. The person who answered told her they would check the account. However, after that conversation, she no longer received replies to her messages.
The lady netizen shared that the phone eventually became out of coverage, and she could only send text messages that went unanswered.
Belle explained that the P300 was supposed to be used to buy milk for her child. While others may see it as a small amount, she said it was important for her family. She waited for 36 hours, hoping the money would be returned, but it never came back.
The registered name on the GCash account appeared as Bryan Arguelles, but she said she spoke to a woman when she called the number. This added to her confusion and worry.
