Sarah Lahbati admitted that she is single right now
Actress Sarah Lahbati said that she is now open to love again, but she stressed that she is not in a hurry.
Sarah has long been separated from her estranged husband, actor Richard Gutierrez, who is currently in a relationship with actress Barbie Imperial.
There had been rumors linking Sarah to a man she was with in Hong Kong. However, she debunked the rumors and said that they are just friends. Then, Sarah was linked to politician Marty Romualdez, the son of Congressman Martin Romualdez.
In a recent podcast interview with actress Kylie Verzosa, based on the article in ABS-CBN, Sarah Lahbati confirmed that her breakup with her estranged husband happened in early 2024.
Sarah mentioned that she is curious as to what would unfold in front of her, as for now, her world is her kids and her job. “And so love is not necessarily a priority. But then I know it’s going to come, and I want my fairy tale,” she said.
The actress also said that she wanted to feel that giddy feeling again and to see what it was like for her, as she knew that she had love to give. “It’s just there tucked in somewhere,” she expressed.
Sarah also said that right now, she feels like she is rebuilding and reclaiming her life. She could say that she is rebuilding in the sense that she is still healing and growing into who she is supposed to be.
“And I feel very much confident in who I am now, but I also know that there’s a lot of healing to do still, and there’s a lot of rebuilding. And then, the reclaiming part is, I guess it’s just like more on the work stuff, I guess, you know, and the womanhood part, to put it simply,” the actress said.
Now that she is single, she said that she is ready to open her heart to a new love. “I want love. I have love to give, but I know that it’s gonna come at the right time. Okay. And I’m not in a rush, I am not in a hurry. It’s gonna come when it’s supposed to,” Sarah Lahbati said.
The actress mentioned what she wants to have in a new relationship. She said that she does not want it to be forced, and just be natural, as she wanted it to be as organic as possible.
Sarah wanted it to be something that is unexpected and something funny. The actress also said that she wanted it to be rooted in friendship before anything else.
