Why Sitti Navarro and Joey Ramirez Chose to Say I Do All Over Again
SITTI NAVARRO – After a decade of marriage, Sitti Navarro gave fans a touching look into why she and her husband chose to relive one of the most meaningful moments of their love story.
Bossa nova and OPM singer Sitti Navarro Ramirez recently gave fans a heartfelt glimpse into her married life after sharing why she and her husband, Joey Ramirez, chose to renew their wedding vows. Taking to social media, Sitti revealed that the intimate ceremony marked a meaningful milestone as they celebrated 10 years as a couple.
The vow renewal, held in May 2025, was inspired largely by their two daughters, Issiah Dañelle and Osseah Lucille. For Sitti, the moment was both symbolic and deeply personal. “I had two reasons for wanting to renew our marriage on our tenth year: first, so our girls would see Joey and I recommitting to our covenant, and two, I selfishly wanted to see them walk down the aisle with us as our flower girls 😆,” she shared on Instagram.
According to the singer, Joey was immediately on board with the idea, making the decision even more special. The couple chose Baguio as the venue for the ceremony, a sentimental choice as it was also where they first exchanged vows. “When I floated the idea to Joey, he said that he also wanted to have a renewal of vows. Eh submissive ako 😆 and so May of last year, in front of our closest family and friends, we did 🥹,” Sitti added.
Looking ahead, Sitti hinted that this may not be the last time they reaffirm their commitment. “We’ll most likely renew our vows again in our 20th year.. by God’s grace and favor. Pero baka sa bahay na lang hahaha.”
She also shared that renewing vows has long been part of their journey as a couple. “Joey and I have actually renewed our vows three times already, at the couples’ retreats that we have joined. It is always the most precious and heart-tugging thing, to look into your husband’s eyes and to repeat the words you first said at your wedding.”
Reflecting on marriage and faith, Sitti offered a deeply moving perspective on commitment. “To feel in your heart that yes, Lord, I still want to be married to this man, I still commit to loving him faithfully until the day I die… Marriage is a glimpse of heaven, of being loved and forgiven, of being spoken for, of being claimed.”
Photos from the ceremony showed a joyful and playful celebration, with Sitti teasing her husband’s newfound willingness to pose for pictures. She also revealed that Joey’s outfit featured drawings by their daughters, including a unicorn, a rainbow, and a three-headed dragon.
The renewal was officiated by Joey’s longtime pastor friend, Pastor Brian Sebastian, whom Sitti thanked warmly. She closed her post with a blessing for their future together: “Here you are—10 years later—not perfect, but persistent. Not without wounds, but still willing.”
