Pinay Bossa Nova singer Sitti reacted to the funny guesses of netizens on her last name which became a trending topic on Twitter just recently.
These past few days, netizens on the micro-blogging social media platform have been playing the surname game. A netizen would post a photo of Pinoy singers who are just using first names as their name in the entertainment industry.
Previously, netizens already shared their guesses on the last names of Soul Siren Nina, Soul Diva Jaya, and RnB diva Kyla. Just recently, another one-named Pinay singer was added to the list and it is Sitti.
Twitter user @thysz shared a photo of Sitti with this caption: “Tapos na si Nina, Kyla at Jaya. Ano ang apelyido ni Sitti?” Among the funny guesses of netizens on the Bossa Nova singer’s last names are Rizine, Mall, Bank, and Zen. There were also those who commented that Sitti is her last name and her first name would be Honda, Daisy, or Baked.
With this, singer Sitti shared her reaction through her Instagram post. She shared a screenshot of the Twitter post the Twitter user who started this trend.
“Masaya akong napasaya ko kayo sa ganitong paraan Salamat, #twitterverse!,” she said. Thank you @thyszest sa mga paandar mo na nagbibigay kasiyahan sa ating mga kababayan. Salamat din dahil sayo, nag-trending ako ng wala akong ka-alam alam LOL,” the Pinay singer said.
Based on the article in The Latest Chika, the real name of the Bossa Nova singer is Sitti Katrina Baiddin Navarro. Now, her surname is Ramirez after she got married to her husband Joey Ramirez in 2015.
