Wllie Revillame was asked about the rumor that he is financially challenged
Veteran TV host Willie Revillame enumerated some of his properties to debunk the allegations that he is “naghihirap.”
Willie is one of the most successful showbiz personalities. With his years in the entertainment industry, he was able to acquire some properties, and he is now considered one of the wealthiest celebrities in the Philippines.
However, a rumor a couple of years ago was that the veteran host is already “naghihirap.” Previously, his friend and PEP columnist Jojo Gabinete clarified that it was not true. The columnist pointed out some of the properties that the veteran host has.
In a recent interview, based on the article in PEP, Willie Revillame was asked about the “naghihirap” allegation. He debunked the allegation that he is financially challenged.
“Hindi totoo yun, eh. Minsan natatawa na lang ako eh or kung saan nila kinukuha yun. Hindi mo alam kung kino-content ka or may galit sa ‘yo,” the veteran TV host said.
Then, he clarified that it is just like having a property, and he wanted to earn twice from it, so he would sell that property. He would also invest in another property.
Willie also mentioned some of the properties that he currently owns. “May bago akong resort sa Puerto Galera. May pinapaganda ako roon na high-end hotel. Meron akong biniling dalawang floor sa isang penthouse sa BGC. Buong floor hindi lang isang unit. May 800 square meters each,” he shared.
He added that he bought four condominium units in front of a mall in BGC. The veteran host also shared that the only property he sold was in Tagaytay because it was too big. Willie also mentioned his three-chopper, his yacht, which he bought for $10 million or about P580 million.
“Ayoko na sanang sabihin ito baka sabihin ninyo nagyayabang ako. Kaso gusto kong sabihin na hindi naman ako naghihirap. Pinaghirapan ko ang mga ito,” Willie Revillame said.
